Misuse of cooling pads in aquaculture farms(1)

In feeding management, cooling pad + exhasut fan is an economical and effective cooling measure commonly used in large-scale pig farms. The cooling pad wall is composed of a cooling pad, a circulating water circuit, an exhaust fan and a temperature control device. When working, water flows down from the anti-water plate and wets the entire cooling pad. The exhaust fan installed at the other end of the pig house works to form a negative pressure in the pig house. , The air outside the house is sucked into the house through the cooling pad, and the heat in the house is taken out of the house by the exhaust fan to achieve the purpose of cooling the pig house.

Reasonable use of cooling pad in summer can reduce the temperature of the pig house by 4-10°C, which is conducive to the growth of pigs. However, many pig farms have some problems in the process of using cooling pad, and the effect of using cooling pad has not been achieved. We will discuss some misunderstandings in the process of using the cooling pad, hoping to help more breeding friends to survive the hot summer smoothly.

Misuse of cooling pads in aquaculture farms1

Misunderstanding 1: The cooling pad directly uses groundwater instead of circulating water.

Misunderstanding ①: The temperature of groundwater is lower than that of normal temperature water (in the interview, there was a case of adding ice to the water tank). Cold water is more conducive to cooling the air passing through the cooling pad, and it is easier to reduce the temperature of the air entering the pig farm.

Positive solution: The cooling pad lowers the air temperature through water evaporation and heat absorption. Too cold water is not conducive to water evaporation, and the cooling effect is not good. Friends who have studied physics know that the specific heat capacity of water is 4.2kJ/(kg·℃), that is, 1kg of water can absorb 4.2KJ of heat when it rises by 1℃; under normal circumstances, 1kg of water vaporizes and absorbs heat (water changes from liquid to For gas) is 2257.6KJ, the difference between the two is 537.5 times. It can be known from this that the working principle of the cooling pad is mainly water vaporization and heat absorption. Of course, the water for the cooling pad should not be too hot, and the water temperature is best at 20-26°C.

Misunderstanding ②: The groundwater is purified through the soil, so it is very clean (some breeding friends use the same well for their own domestic water).

Positive solution: The groundwater has many impurities and high hardness, which will cause the cooling pad to be blocked, which is difficult to clean. If 10% of the area of the cooling pad is blocked, it is obvious that many places cannot be wetted by water, so that hot air directly enters the house, affecting the cooling effect. Therefore, the cooling pad should try to use tap water as circulating water; at the same time, iodine disinfectant can be added to the water tank to prevent the growth of moss and algae, and the water tank should be cleaned regularly. The water tank is preferably divided into an upper water tank and a return water tank. The upper third of the upper water tank and the return water tank are connected with water pipes to ensure that after the return water settles, the upper clear water enters the upper water tank.
