Usage of cooling pad in chicken and poultry houses:
1. Open cooling pads of different ages
It is not recommended to use cooling pads to cool down chickens during the brooding period (0-3 weeks old); in the early breeding period (4-10 weeks old), turn it on at 34°C; in the late breeding period (11-18 weeks old), turn it on at 32°C; after 19 weeks of age, the chickens house 28-32℃.
2. Open cooling pads with different humidity
In high-temperature and low-humidity weather with relative humidity <60%, if the highest temperature of the day is lower than 35°C, use air cooling; if it is greater than or equal to 35°C, cooling pad is required, and the starting temperature is 32°C.
In high temperature and high humidity weather with relative humidity ≥70%, if the maximum temperature of the day is lower than 32°C, use air cooling; if it is greater than or equal to 32°C, cooling pad cooling is required, and the starting temperature is 30°C.
In extreme high temperature and high humidity weather with relative humidity ≥80%, if the maximum temperature of the day is lower than 29°C, use air cooling; if it is greater than or equal to 29°C, cooling pad cooling is required, and the starting temperature is 28°C.
3.Cooling pad operating time
Use the temperature control clock and the time control clock to dually control the running time of the cooling pad. When the cooling pad is used for the first time, it can be set to start for 10 seconds and stop for 4 minutes and 50 seconds, so that the chickens can adapt to the cooling process of the cooling pad. Then, according to the The outside temperature, humidity, and wind speed in the house determine the running time of the cooling pad.
Generally, the cooling pad can be completely wet after 0.3 to 1 minute after opening. It is recommended to cycle for 5 minutes or 10 minutes. That is, the on time is 1 minute and the off time is 4 minutes; or the on time is 1 minute and the off time is 9 minutes.
4. Precautions when using cooling pads
1) Do not use cooling pads before all fans are turned on;
2) The temperature of the circulating water used in the cooling pad is not as low as possible.
3) The cooling pad paper can be seen wet and dry, and the cooling effect is good.
